Stoke-on-Trent’s only wood fired pizza place, truly independent and in the heart of the Cultural Quarter. It’s a restaurant that offers fresh and authentic pizza with an experience for the customer.

The fast paced environment of restaurants dictates that associated brand identities must be able to keep up with this pace. Static and one dimensional doesn’t cut it, and we were tasked with creating a system that kept up, was simple and easy for the customer to understand, and fit with the companies creative ethos. To boot, interior design was a key part of the brief and implementing the identity with the surroundings of the restaurant as it grows and evolves.
Drawn initially from classic pizzerias of NYC, the simple logotype acts as the epicentre against an identity suite of arrows and witty copy, ever changing imagery and a palette that can be easily reproduced across printed ephemera and interior designs. The intention was to be flexible and inviting of collaboration through illustration and photography.
An overall visual identity that embraces creativity through guest illustrations, clear and concise typography and bold statements through a tone of voice we developed to reflect that of the staff and restaurant owners. As one of the city’s most progressive young, independent businesses, the creative aspects had to match the ambition and align with established and bigger competitors.
